Phreedom Application
The Phreedom application is available at the sourceforge.net website, click here to go to our sourceforge home page. The Phreedom application consists of the following core modules:
- contacts – Handles customers, vendors, employees, branches and CRM functions
- inventory – Handles products including services, in-house items, and descriptive items
- payment – Handles various payment methods, expandable with add-on payment methods
- phreebooks – Handles the core accounting functionality
- phreedom – Handles the general functionality, importing/exporting, and user management
- phreeform – Handles form and report generation0
- phreehelp – Pop-up help function
- shipping – Handles various shipping methods, expandable with add-on shipping methods
Add-on Modules
Phreedom can be expanded through the addition of add-on modules. Click here to see the list of add-on modules.
Add-on Dashboards
Dashboards are brief listings/summaries of the current state of the system. Many modules are pre-loaded with dashboards. Click Here to see the current list of add-on Dashboards.
Shipping Methods
Core shipping method included with the Phreedom release:
- FedEx (fedex_v7) – Integration with Federal Express. Supports small package and freight, rates, label generation, bill reconciliation and shipment tracking.
- Flat Rate (flat)- Flat shipping rate estimation
- Free Shipping (freeshipper) – Free shipping estimation, including a handling charge. Includes several descriptions to identify method used.
- Per Item Shipping (item) – Rate per item shipping estimation.
- Store Pickup (storepickup)- Store pickup estimation.
- Table Rate Shipping (table) – Shipping rates based on a defined table.

Payment Methods
Core payment methods included with the Phreedom release:
- Cash on Delivery (cod) – Records cash received for payment.
- Direct Debit (directdebit) – Records direct debits received for payment.
- Free Charge (freecharger) -
- Money Order (moneyorder) – Records money orders/checks received for payment.
- Elavon Merchant Services (nova_xml) – Integration with the Elavon Merchant Services network. Credit card charges only.

Language Packs
The Phreedom core release includes the English (US) translation. the list below contains the translation for the core Phreedom release. Translations for add-on modules, dashboards, and shipping/payment methods can be found in the download page for the respective add-on.
