I installed with the current fiscal year when I start phreebooks, I get the following message:
The post date specified is not within any of the currently defined fiscal years. Either change the post date or add the necessary fiscal year.
and if I try to go to go to General Ledger -> Administrative Tools, I get the attached log file.
Can you please advise?

A couple of things,
Do you have a Fiscal Year in (Administrative Tools and Utilities, Accounting Periods and Fiscal Years) for the year you are trying to enter the transaction for?
When you first install you need to create the Fiscal Year that you intend to start with, like 2010 or 2011 etc.
Because this form is moderated you can not attache a file until your status is changed.

Send a pm to me, I'll give you an email address to send the file.

When we installed, we specified the current year (2012). Is there anyway to add previous fiscal years (so we can enter historical transactions) using Phreedom or SQL? Thanks!

Unfortunately, with the current release there is no way to add a fiscal year prior to the one used at setup. This would be a very difficult problem as there are so many interconnected tables and the chances of messing things up would be too great.
