When I installed Phreedom on my Linux PC as localhost, I remember this feature worked like a charm.
Now on my LAN server, I cannot work out what I am doing wrong. I would have expected to have 'Browsed' to the file, 'Opened' it and the clicked on an 'Upload' button or such like. But there doesn't seem to be an 'Upload' button. Also, it isn't uploaded / saved when I click on the 'Save' diskette icon.
Am I missing something simple here?
Thanks Charles

In the Phreedom online demo I can create a sales order, save it and then upload a document to it ( browsing then opening doct and then saving the entry again - clicking save diskette image). Then a blue 'delete attachment / download attachment' icon appears beneath the browse field.
On my LAN server Phreedom test install, this blue 'delete attachment / download attachment' icon doesn't appear. This, of course, indicates that no file has been uploaded.
I think that this may be a problem with my server configuration - might this explain both my inability to upload files into Phrteedom AND my current inability to restore from a back-up?

phreebooks doesn't check if you are allowed upload files. but it could be the reason why it isn't working or it could be that you haven't got any rights on the folder you are trying to save the files to.
