Okay, so: the subject is a LITTLE misleading, but what I'm after is some interoperability with CiviCRM, GroupOffice, Joomla/Drupal/Wordpress/OtherCMS, and other web-based software, in a way which allows me to map MySQL fields in foreign schemas to data which would then be imported and held in PhreeBooks.
The main idea here is to be able to track memberships and donations with a nonprofit's CMS (which has a CiviCRM backend), import data from emails and schedulers, and to be able to push data to other web-based software to remind people about pledges so that we can retain a consistent process and look without having to hack a bunch of files in multiple systems in order to make it look somewhat consistent (and manually transfer large amounts of data back and forth as we recruit volunteers and record in-kind donations, etc.).
I know that's kind of a lot to ask, but it's on my wishlist.

The zen cart module is a good place to start, Dave used SOAP to transfer data between phree and zen. You should be able to extend what he has implemented in the zen cart module to accomplish what you need.
