I have entered a customer order, then I have then also produced an invoice for it. After issuing an invoice for the order I have marked the order as closed / delivered. The problem is that inventory manager shows 'quantity on sales order' with a negative value. I thought that by issuing an invoice and marking the order as closed these quantities would have returned to zero but this was not the case. I tried to delete the order but I get an error message saying that the ordered cannot be deleted because it has been delivered. Is this a bug or am I missing something. How do I get 'quantity on sales order' back to zero? I am using version 3.2

There are tools in the Module Administration -> Inventory -> Properties - Tools tab that will clean this up but I'm more concerned about how you are entering an order. The process is Create Sales Order (optional) -> Invoice Sales Order (or create from scratch if no Sales Order). If you do this, you should never have to close out the Sales Order as it will be closed when the total from the Sales Order has been invoiced. If you could post the step-step actions you are taking I can see if you are entering something in the wrong sequence. Regardless, the Qty on Sales Order should never go negative, If you can help me re-produce this, I can see if I can fix the bug.
