I have a few questions on serial numbers and bill of materials.
Iv been trying to figure out how to track serial numbers and show available serial numbers.

On bill of materials it seems to not be taking the required items out of inventory.

On a related note when i can something into POS it enters it twice.

The serial number handling is one of the weaker parts of Phreedom. To extract serial number information, the report tool would be your best choice. I posted a bit more on your prior thread in this topic.

I would have to see how you set up your assemblies. The bom are the items that make up the assembly and all should be the type that is tracked in inventory (assembly, stock item, master stock, serialize item). As Phreedom will allow you to sell items that are not in stock, it may be that you sold an item but didn't have inventory. In this case, the COGS owed stores the item until it is assembled and can pull the BOM pieces from inventory.

I've never tried to use assemby type of stock items yet, so I'd like to know if the member of the BOM can be the serialized item. If it is possible, then where are entered the serial numbers while assembling the item?

I have never tried this but I don't think this is supported. I briefly looked at the journal posting code and didn't see where this was supported.

I tried to make a serialized bom and then entered the serial number when i built it and it worked fine. Took inventory out correctly and serialized
