Yes but this is what is confusing we sell multiple different manufactures products (wholesale house), Each has a different discount structure 50% off list then on top of that quantity discounts. So one customer might need a discounts for vendorA and a different for VendorB. Then a retail customer would pay a completely different price on the same item.

Iv been playing with it and it kinda works.

What I have is say 3 category cat1 needs to be discounted 30% for wholesale customer cat2 needs to be discounted 50% for wholesale customers and cat3 is discounted 50% + has quantity discounts for wholesale customers. Retail customers must pay a retail price but still have quantity discounts just not as much as wholesale. Im having trouble figuring that out.

You might be able to get there with a combination of price sheets, default inventory price sheet, and default customer/vendor price sheet. You may end up with several price sheets but all combinations will need to be there for it to work.

Set the price sheet for you whole sale customer in the customer screen.
un-check for this price sheet the option use as default.

For the other price sheet ( for the non wholesale customers) check the option use as default.
This price sheet will be used by default ( preventing that you give to much discount.)
