We like to keep a record of the voided checks in our bank account register.
Every time we have a voided check, we create a dummy purchase invoice for an amount =0 which we pay with a check in the amount =0.
Is there a better way to handle voided checks?

I have on my to do list a way to void checks and leave a record. Right now, they can be deleted but the record goes away. It's on the high priority list but I have a few others in front of it.
