I'm sure I'm missing something here but I can't find it...I somehow have a accounts recievables balacne of -250 , but I can't figure out why.. No customer deposits , no entries anywhere, just the balance.. I found the accounting period it shows up in, but their aren't even any entries for that period with the same amount. I've also searched for the entry and found nothing again. Am I missing something or does someone have a way I'd be able to find this and fix it?

Run the general ledger report for that account for all periods, it will give you the record number of the transaction. Then go to Tools -> Search and search for that record ID. It will show you the transaction where the entry was entered.

I reinstalled before I recieved your reply... If this happens again I'll use this method to find the transaction... Thanks for your help..
