Hi,
i installed Phreebooks yesterday for a test run, the installation was smooth! Good job!
i'm now in adding of inventory, which i found out that the cost price and full price are not showing up. Both in SETUP>PRICE SHEET SETTINGS and CUSTOMER>PRICE SHEET MANAGER.
I Tried the Demo online and is working fine.
Did I miss something from the installation or setup?

Have you added a price sheet? Did you save the inventory item before you tried to enter the price sheet. The price sheet popup uses the values from the database, if you just entered the numbers on the form and didn't save, the database doesn't have the values and the popup will show zero.

Hi Dave,
When i add the item in the Inventory, i put an Item Cost and Full Price then the Save.
Then when i look it under the Inventory and click the item, Item Cost and Full Price is 0.
Another approach is from Customers>Price Sheet Manager>Load Item Pricing and put price in Item Cost and Full Price and when i save it, the Item Cost and Full Price textbox shows 0 amount.
Tried this with two installations already, i don't know where did i go wrong...

Dave,
Got it running! i will now test some more...
Solution: Downgrade my XAMPP to 1.71, was using 1.73 at first installation
Maybe it's with the MySQL, it's doesn't save the price.

Please check your php logs and javascript errors (in Firefox) and see if you are receiving any errors. Also check to see if you have Safe Mode enabled. Safe Mode needs to be off and is set to on by default in Windows machines.

PHP Safe mode is off.
After downgrading the XAMPP to 1.7.1, Everything runs smoothly. Price level are working fine

Dave,
I installed the XAMPP 1.71 to my server for final deployment, setup the company and etc...
when i entered the prices to my item, it won't save again.
even when i setup my price sheet, the mark up percentage didn't save.
I really wonder why...
installed XAMPP 1.71 to Windows XP with SP2
Does this php needs some java add on or etc? I have a Java plug in

Java is not needed. I don't have a lot of experience in the Windows environment so I don't know if I can be of much help. I would check you php.ini file and compare with your working test system, there might be some configuration differences between the two, especially since you had it working on another system with the same configuration.

I discovered the bug, but then it was also here in the thread before.
it was when i change the default currency to my local country currency, it was the time when the item prices goes back to zero (0).
I'll wait for the R2.2. Thanks!

hi, i solved the error.
First go to currencies menu and edit default currency you have. Then in pop-up add Decimal Precision field of default currency to any value like 2 or what ever you want and save it.. it will solve the problem.
