Hello Dave,

thanks for your continued assistance.
I have some questions to ask.
1. How to I upgrade from 2.1 to 3.1.
2. I installed 3.1 and when i tried to enter inventory, i see error for cost price and full price.
when I try to edit the currency it does not work.
when I open a sales invoice, when to imput qty, sku, unit price and amount, is not visible. what is wrong?
3. How do I enter inventory opening quantities?

1. Have you read: Upgrading from PhreeBooks Release 2.1 and Lower http://www.phreesoft.com/?page_id=479

2. You should not have a problem here. Check your error logs for errors and post them here. If you use multi currency try turning off auto update and enter rates manually. cost price and full price will be in your home or default currency.

3. The best way is with a PO, but if you don't have to many items you can use Inventory Adjustments. Also have a look around in Tools> Import/Export

I have disabled the automatic update. yet i cant modify the currency neither can i enter new currency.

moreso, the item cost and Full Price is still showing errors. the errors are thus: "Warning: number_format() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in C:\xampp\htdocs\phreesoft\includes\common_classes.php on line 539.

what do I do.

sounds like some files are missing or the upgrade didn't happen properly. Once the new files are installed you need to log out, refresh your cache and log back in. You should see some upgrade messages. Did this happen? It looks like your currency tables may be corrupted as the error you are receiving are all related to currencies.

I have included instructions in the R3.1 root directory that are step by step on how to upgrade. Did you see them? Was there any problems following them?
