Hello I am getting an error trying to upload customer lists.

I go to import, I check customer lists, I make sure only the fields I want to import say show and it is in the order of my .csv file. I upload the csv file then press upload and I get this error message:



I have tried different ways but I always get the same error. I notice that the id field is set to be imported but I set it to not show.

Please help.

This error results from no file being uploaded. At the beginning of the import script, I test for a valid file that was uploaded through the script and the length greater than zero. Did you select a file to import from your local machine? Check the Options tab under the Import Settings heading to select the file to import.

Thank you Dave for answering.

I did select the file to upload. I've tried this both on a windows and mac computer with IE, Safari and Firefox.

I go to the options screen and browse to the file and the file name goes into the box then I press import. Am I missing a step?

I duplicated the error on the test server and the error is mine.
On file /modules/services/pages/imp_exp/template_main.php, change line 26 to read:

thank you very much that solution worked. As a note I also changed the template_detail.php file also to the above.
