Hello Dave,
Thanks for all your support.
I have a friend who wanted to monitor what he produces and so I recommended Phreebooks to Him since I use it and it is very good. But the challenge here is that he makes Coldstore.
He buy materials to build Coldstore and he want me to help him install and setup Phreebooks for him.
How do I go about it since it has to do with assembling materials to gether.

thanks

hello,

thanks for your response.
A coldstore is also a coldroom for storing cartons of fishes, french fries, etc.
He buys the panels and the material for building it and he builds on request to specification. what I am keen about is how will phreebooks handle the manufacturing process. Combining the stock/materials to build the specified coldroom.
thanks

popsicles.

You can create assemblies from component skus. I believe you can add labor as a component sku but not having used assemblies I don't know if this is absolutely possible.

Assemblies is the answer (although labor is not supported in assemblies until R3.3). I use them all the time and he will be very happy. Combine it with the Work Order module and you can control your manufacturing process as well.
