import purchase/receive csv invoices

we have a year of catching up to do and would like to import our invoice history in csv spreadsheet instead of manual entries.

can it be done?

i see this can be done by purchase orders, but still involves a few steps to turn them to received and invoiced.

All you can do at the present is import outstanding invoices through the beginning balances section of the Import/Export page. I have a full import on the todo list but I have had troubles obtaining format data from the likes of QuickBooks and Peachtree.
