I observed that the exchange rates are not updated properly by hitting the Globe Icon (Update Exchange Rate) under Company - Module Administration - Currencies. I had to hit this icon several times, yet some currencies were showing 0.0000. It may be because screen-scraping is forbidden by oanda.com or xe.com. Whereas, it looks that the reference rates published by European Central Bank daily is officially available for download and update.
I used this zencart addon at
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=430 and set a cron job also for zencart currency update.. I am quite happy with the automatic currency update.
Is it possible to modify this addon to work with phreedom ERP? One limitation is European Central Bank updates only 24 leading currencies of the world.
