SMTP Configuration #

By default, Bizuno uses the internal server mail client. All emails will originate from one of the PhreeSoft.com load balancer servers identified using the server domain name (psX.phreesoft.com). Your name will be supplied however some recipient mail servers reject the email as it may fail their authentication standards. To fix this, Bizuno has a two stage SMTP protocol that can be used to forward all Bizuno system generated emails through your personal SMTP mail server.

The first stage is a general SMTP mailbox which can be configured in the Bizuno module settings. This is referred to as the ‘default’ mail server. Each user can also have SMTP credentials set so that emails originating from their Bizuno accounts will have their reply to name and email address.

When sending an email, Bizuno will first look to see if the user has credentials set for STMP protocols. If so, they will be used, if not, the default credentials will be used for the transmission.
